Default Front Brakes

Having some trouble with my 99 dodge neon dohc. as i was driving to work the car felt slow and would not go faster than 35mph. then i noticed the brake pedel was rock hard. as i stopped, with some e-brake help, the driver side front brake was smoking. went home and replaced the caliper and brake hose and replaced the brakes(both sides) and new rotors. bleed the brakes took it for a test drive that night, everything seemed fine. this morning same thing happend, the only difference is that both brakes were smoking, and the brake pedel was rock hard. i'm not sure what to replace next, the master cylinder, or replace the Proportioning Valve ( PRESSURE METERING VALVE). please help. i would greatly appreciate it......

Your piston is probably sticking or you may have a blocked/pinched hose or vacuum line.

I checked out the lines and no pinched vacumm lines. i'll just change out the master cylinder and see what happens.
