Hi all,
I have a '96 Neon with an auto trans. It has been OK until a day or 2 ago, when it started to vibrate when put in reverse. In frwd it is fine, although it has a quite whine when in frwd, and at lower speeds.

As far as Iknow the car had the tranny serviced at 60000 miles by the previous owner, it has 75000 miles currently.

Any common or not so common transmission problems that could cause the vibration

Do you know what type of fluid was put it in the tranny when serviced? Chrysler trannies are very sensitive and require specific friction modifiers.
