heres another thought... push on ur cluster see if it goes off. if it does ur pins on the cluster dont have a good connection im havin major problems with my speedo going in an out the seatbelt light comes on once in a while and so does the airbag light but heres an example u said it came on out of no where...where u driving and hit a bump not a big one but it could of been a light one too mine happens like that sometimes and if u push on it or punch it a few times it goes away check it out and let us know
