Default seats

Do both front and back seats from the 2nd gen neons fit in 1st gens?

If so, How much fab. will be needed to get them in? or do they just pop right in?

pretty sure cause all the front seats are completely interchangable so i would guess so... i've never looked at the brackets and such on the 2nd Gen. but from what i've heard and read in this forum they are completely interchangable.

What are the best seats? My 95 neons seats feel kinda cheap, but my gf is short and we share this car. So they cant be any lower really. Something with better hold and back support would be nice

i honestly dont know but i would guess that the 2nd gen...out of the 03+ would be the best... Das or Spud or someone else would know for sure which ones are the best.

and what do you know about the 2nd stearing wheels..will those fit right with the first gen ?
i doupt the steering wheels would just swap...atleast i've never heard of them just swapping...

ALL the neons, and I mean ALL, will interchange and are direct swaps for the seats. You can swap steering wheels also, but may need to splice the clockspring wires together.

i plan on getting a steering wheel from an srt4 when i get the money to spend on looks instead of performance

seats from the r/t's are gonna give you better back and side support, but i think they are gonna sit you just a tiny bit lower...the way i put it, regular neon seats you sit on, r/t seats you sit in.....then there is the srt4 seats...with even better hold, but would be a little uncomfortable for long rides
