dremmel would make it kinda rough, unless you used different bits to sand it down after you did the main cutting....i am just saying this for the fact that i dont know many people that have a cylinder hone
yea im sure not many people have one, you use a 3 pad deglaze hoan it works nice, if you have ever tried to use a ball hoan on aluminum you learn the hard way not to do that, you can usually get an El cheapo 3 pad hoan from the part store for $15 or so, like napa or autozone even, i think i bought mine at western auto (before it changed to advance) a good 8 years ago, even the half shaft will help airflow more than boring out the TB since you cant really take much out of them before they crack from being too thin
i had mine honed at a machine shop and they told me the max could be 57mm and thats what i have now they put in a new throttle plate to match the bore....it was only 50 bucks!! and never had a prob ever its been in for 8 months
my throttle plate will fall through the inside now instead of sticking half way down, its closed all the way to make it idle , i think i could still go bigger and make a new plate
