Ithought that my 1st gen alluminium intake should bolt upto my srt motorwith minor mods .It doesn't seem to want to is this a known problem.[:@]

 

well it is a different motor

 

is the srt a 2.4 DOHC? if it is theyre supposed to have the same head as the DOHC 2.0(i thought so anyway), why would you want the 2.0 intake on the srt4 ?

 

Id heard that an srt intake won't fit under the hood of my 1st gen?(anybody know).I'd also seen my friend put an intake off of 2l dohc on a 2.4 out of a pt cruiser.Now it seems that the head off srt is a bit different!!.[&:]I know there is different oil passages in srt ,but intake bolt patern is also different[:@].

 

The whole engine fits. You do need a power bulge hood in order for it to fit, but the WHOLE thing fits.

They are the same head, but they have different alignment and mounting points.
