Okay so my check engine lights been on, no big deal, my dad punched out the stuff in it for some stupid reason. I got the codes 12, 11, 27, 43, and 31. I havn't the slightest clue what any of these could mean, and i was wondering if someone could possibly help me out? thanks.

The thing thats weird is im not having any problems what so ever with the car. the only problem is that the acceleration from 1st gear to 2nd is as quick as it should be and its only reving to around 5000 rpms when i floor it at a dead stop.

i bet if you fix that timing belt it will at least make the 43 code go away along with the 11.

How much roughly would it cost to get the timing belt changed?

Reset the PCM and see what codes come back. The code 43 is usually sprak plugs and/or wires need to be changed.
