neutural safety switch.
i just did an engin swap on my 95 swapped the whole engin out from 2.0 wit auto to a 2.0 with mtx but wont start because of the neutural safety switch, what exactly do i have 2 do to find it and bypass it , in detail because ill have 2 try 2 figure it out myslef , thanks
from what it sounds like is he switched from auto to manual along with the engine swap or took the engine from an auto and put it in a manual

take the center wire of the 3 wire connector from the ATX, ground it, it'll turn over, i hooked mine to my clutch switch, and grounded the other wire from it - leave it grounded it will keep a 5500 rpm rev limit and run like *** cuz the PCM thinks its in park / neutral
im thinking its the brown wire that you have to ground to make it turn over

im sorry for not explaining that good enough , i just bought a 2 door with the engin blown and an auto tranny i took the engin and mtx tranny out of my blue neon and put it in that . im pritty sure teh guiy put the computer in already . so ur saying i cant go above 5500 rpm? and that it will run like **** or did i just read that wrong
if your car wont start then just take the pcm outta you 5 speed car....unless its a different year

well its cheaper just to hook up the wire to the clutch switch, you can go above 5500 rpm if you wire it into the switch on the clutch pedal,
my daily driver is that way and i have no problems, clutch pedal in, it turns over, has 5500 rpm rev limit, out 6750 rev limit,
if you ground that wire and leave it grounded then youll be stuck at5500, take one wire from the 2 wire clutch switch, ground it, take the center brown wire of the 3 wire connector of the ATX plug and hook it to the other wire of the swtich, , much cheaper than buying another PCM
when you racin or just beatin on your car and shift like me without lettin off the throttle it kills the engine between gears if your shifting at 6500 or so cuz the switch clicks it back to neutral mode for a sec. and tries to drop it to 5500

yea, i was just saying when you have to buy one its cheaper to hook a few wires up, DOHC you dont get the benifit of the 7200 rpm rev limit if you stick with the ATX PCM
i know, i'm hillbilly[8D] too cheap to buy anything
