I need help findin my best way to take a 95 dohc engine w\ manual trans and put it in a 96 donar car with a blown sohc engine but good auto trany.My problem is what best and easyest... modfy car to manual trans or puttin automatic trans from sohc 96 engine on dohc 95engine plus i know there are different pcm and 60pin connectors so any pinout help ....

 

its not hard to swap from auto to manual, especially using the DOHC motor with the SOHC auto its gonna be a dog with the gearing they have,--- i think all you have to change is the wire harness under the hood, and the PCM along with it from the other car, im pretty sure it plugs into the interior harness the same , dont quote me on that but i think they can be swapped out pretty easily from SOHC to DOHC
i havent done one yet switching from the small PCM to the big one, i have 2 neons, one with each style of pcm, ill look at both when i get time and see if the interior harness plug is the same or not
theres no modifying anything to make it a manual trans, evrything bolts right up from the other car

this car used to be automatic..
