i haven't had to fill up the coolant in a long time

but yea

cause there is still coolant

it's just the water that is running out

and my dad told me where to keep it so its balanced

 

I'm just not understanding how only the water runs out but not the coolant, if it's mixed correctly.[&:]

 

its cause my car is retarded

it can beat a dodge truck with 400 tq

but cant beat a dohc neon

 

yeah that doesn't add up, if only water runs out then that means something isn't mixing correctly anti-freeze and water mix, water and oil don't, I think there is some oil somewhere preventing the proper mixure, that could explain the water issue I really hope im wrong though. try not to drive the car to much, if the head gasket isn't change possibly soon, you could end up cracking the head from the constant heating and cooling from driving it and end up paying some more money, and racing isn't just about the cars, it comes down to driver experience as well. i pay attention to the temp gauge all the time

and its leaking at the gasket



my mom drives it to work so she doesnt waste gas in her truck
and thats like a 6 mile drive at the most a day

then i drive it all weekend

it doesnt go through what it did over the summer..hahahah

 

ok, well hopefully you can get that Head Gasket fixed asap, even that s mile at the most per day is helping towards a cracked head that's plenty enough time for the head to heat up hella good, what happend over the summer?

 

i commuted 3 days a week with all the morning and night commuters to school in the california heat

so it was a 45 minute drive in around 100 degree wheater

and about the whole first semester i had no a/c
so i drove in my boxers and a shirt
and when i didnt have school i drove the car hard
hahaha
on 4th of july i drove all day with 7 people in the car

the car has been through alot since my dad bought it brand new..hahah

i just hope that my dad can find the time to fix the head gasket soon

 

the water and coolant cant seperate & leak just water..... what the hell are you smokin

 

how long exactly have yo been driving with the headgasket blown? or an estimate.

 

it's not blown yet

it's just leaking
you can't really tell unless you are really looking
its barely leaking not even an inch onto the intake manifold

and not for very long
around the beginning of sept i think
