I need to know where this cable attaches to, it seems to be the cable to open the throttle body, so it would go to the gas pedal, but i cant find out where.

 

On your throttle body, there is a black cover to the immediate right of there. Under that cover is where it connect to the "butterfly" plate inside the TB to control your throttle.

 

if your looking to find out where it connects to the pedel then look up under your dash, the gas pedel is connected to a black metal bracket and at the top of the bracket is where the cable hooks to it....its about 6 inches above the pedel

 

is this cable needed?
