Default '96 Neon 2.4L Stratus Motor Swap

Man I want to know if the Stratus 2.4L engine is a good swap and if the engine mounts do fall easy on my '96 Neon. Also I really want to know if a '96 Neon Manual Tranny is compatible with the Stratus engine since the stock tranny is an auto. Any help will be inmensely and eternally appreciated.... Thanx.

i'ma have to make a good 2.4 sticky.
as long as the engine isn't ngc, it should work. use the neon tranny.
passenger motor mount is different, trim the fmm.
more stuff needed.

you can get a side motor mount adapter for the swap , the rest ligns up, someone told me you use the original DOHC 2.0 neon wire harness and PCM

Stock trans will bolt right up. Im in the process of doing the 2.4 swap right now. you have to move the injector plugs all down one and the 4th goes to the first injector, then switch the outside 2 coil wires around, and extend the oil sender wire. Trim the front motor mount so it will clear the oil pan. Get the 2.4 motor mount adapter and ta-daaa...
