if your only getting a code for the EGR failure, then chances are the EGR is bad....i would replace it and see if that helps at all

what caused your bent valve? Because it did just start up for a brief moment and it sounded 100% smooth, but it was short lived. It died within 2-4 seconds.

I checked the compression on all 4, it showed 190psi across the board. I took off the EGR Valve and i noticed the EGR Transducer as i think its called is seperate. Should both pieces be replaced, or just the actual EGR Valve?

Replace the EGR valve and transducer together as a unit.

Bad news. I changed the EGR & Transducer, brand new parts, and when i initially turned it over, it appeared to want to start for a brief moment, but didn't. Now again, its not starting at all. Im unsure if this is an acurate test to make sure if the catalytic converter is clogged or not, but i had someone turn the motor over an i felt for exhaust at the tailpipe. I felt quite a bit of exhaust coming out of the tailpipe. I would assume that probably would rule out a total catalytic converter failure.

Any other ideas. I would think the car hadn't jumped time since it started and ran smooth last night for a brief moment.

I checked to see if the car had any other codes showing. The only codes showing now are 12 & 55 so i assume thats good.

Will it start with a jump? If so, check your battery and starter connections. Make sure they are clean and free of dirt/corrosion.
