than why does the gauge description say it fits 95-99 neons?

 

probably trying to rip u maybe...or just really stupid people cause for one...i doupt that thing would even fit in a first gen. gauge cluster area in the dash and 2...its IDENTICAL to the GM truck clusters... my friend Kelly has one a Chevy and it looks just like that...minus the glo and such

 

Think about it first. Does it even look remotely close the neons cluster? Nothing does. Second I noticed it right away because my father has an 06 Sierra, wouldn't be my first choice of truck but, none the less.

Its ebay, and you have to watch your back or you will be bent over and there will be no KY.

 

its not from ebay at all i dont know where your getting that from and yeah i know it doesnt look like a neons gauges but heres the product description

I think that you guys are talking about two different things. 99Neon is talking about what he found on slickcar.com, PimpBerreta is talking about what I posted from ebay.

 

the one pictured from slickcar.com is not for the neons.....but maybe they do have one

 

The first one looks like a mattdog cluster....his are WAY better.

 

ok , the glo one isnt a gauge overlay , its called electroluminescent paper (im not sure its actually paper , but you cut like paper) ... thats why the spelling on the right and left side bubbles is kinda crappy.. its homemade.. unless you have a really good printer or a good laser cutting die , you wont be able to copy a set of well made guages that glow... at least not the way it should look....

but then again , i cant say im too fond of my stock guages.. i wish i had a tach... im thinking about changingthe orange lights behind the gauge clust to blue led's or blue/red selectable leds....

you might have a difficult time changing the color of the gauge lights because they are just clear bulbs....the color comes from the plastic face....you could do it if you cut out all the light covers, but then you would just see the bulbs(or led's)

 

All that is needed is LED Bulbs size 194 and swap them in. Pull the stock bulb from the socket and swap in your color choise of LED bulb. Red looks nice.
