might just be a little under a half qt or oil, the light will continue to pop up every 10 min or so untill you add enough in there, so just go grab some and add it, if you have already checked it and the oil in fine, then it could be a sensor going out on you, make sure to check for any oil leaks anywhere incase the oil is going kinda fast that or internal wear, Good Luck !!

i see my oil light once and a while, but i usually run my car for about 10,000 miles between oil changes.....so it has a tendancy to run a little low.....though i like driving on the same oil for 10,000 miles and only being a half quart low by the time i change it....even with 148,000 miles on the car

if the oil is fine and at its full range then your oil sending unit might be goin out

On hard conering it will do that. Your oil pressure will drop just a bit. If you have ever had the oil pan off, you would see that the oil pickup tube is on the passenger side of the vehicle so if you are turning right hard it may not be able to get oil for a quick second.
