they went to a coil pack because all of the ignition advance/retard functions are performed electrically through the ECM
That is so much better than a dizzy. That would be nice to just do it electronically. Damnit, now I feel like i'm missin out on somethin!

But our PCM's can't be reprogrammed or anything like that. We either have to get a Mopar or AF/x Performance PCM if we want to advance timing.

Well that kind of sucks, but at the same time is kind of good.

If you think about it, it's cool because it doesn't let people advance their timing that don't know what they are doing, just to gain a little power. IMO, you probably shouldn't be messing with timing for performance reasons, until you have a performance PCM anyway. Again, IMO, and I don't know **** about Neon's, so I could be way off.

yea but some people just plug in a DOHC PCM and get a little gain...
that's like the cheapest way

but everyone on here siad you couldn't run your car like that daily becuase it would run to rich

AND BLOW THE **** UP!
