I just replaced my egr valve, and it still says that its an EGR Flow Problem. I changed the hoses, everthing seems to run good, but i cant pass inspection with the service engine soon light on. Please, i need help fast

 

you probally just need to get the code cleared......once the pcm encounters a problem like that, it will store the code, and the code will not go away until cleared

 

I think you can clear the code by disconnecting the battery for a long period of time?

 

5-10 minutes, not that long!

 

but you only disconnect the positive side

 

I do the negative side or pull the fuel pump fuse for 10 minutes.

 

think i got the same problem too..my SES light is on also and Advance told me it was my EGR solenoid circuit valve or something like that when they did diagnostics.. anyone know how much that problem costs to be fixed?

 

The EGR valve and transducer are about $90 from the dealer.
