I am painting the interior of my car and i was wondering if you use clearcoat to finish or not.

 

yes, it would make it stand out a lil and its also protects the paint.

 

I would *NOT* clearcoat the dashpad... Just for the simple fact it woudl become more reflective.. and make it hard to see when driving during the day

 

I clear coated everything except the top part for the simple fact of the glare like NeonRT98 was talking about, and if possible try using a flat color. I used black with some sparkles looks good.

 

I didnt paint the top of mine maybe thats why I clear coated everything. Oh well

nice I know those speakers grills on the dash where a B**** When I did mine in silver I used a tape ring about the size of the grill and lightly sprayed inside checking while I went to make sure I didn't have any runs

 

Thats actually an old pic, it looks a lot better now. Ill try and post a pic later.
My plan is to paint the door panels to match the dash. Black on top white on bottom. It should look pretty fricken sweet.
