Default 2.0 SOHC head on a 2.4 block

someone told me this is possible and the head and block will match right up. if so, how much more horsepower/torque would i gain with a 2.4 block?? cause i still want to use my fully rebuilt SOHC head, if it aint, ill just go ahead rebuild my block and get my turbo in.

"The SOHC cylinder head is only used on the 2.0 SOHC. The DOHC Neon shares a cylinder head with the 2.4. The Avenger/Sebring/Eclipse 2.0 DOHC head is unique and has reversed flow."

Isn't the 2.4 a DOHC? DOHC is better than SOHC, you almost always get more power with a DOHC cylinder head.

The DOHC head is far superior to the SOHC head, flow wise.
