and when you compare tint prices you should always try and get the tint with the titanium in it, last about 4 or more years longer and it reduces the heat better and light

You should check local laws. Here in Washington, the legal light transmission is 35% on the two front side windows. Law enforcement doesn't care about the rest of the windows. It can be darker but, be prepared to pay the fine. The City has to make their money somehow. For the officer's safety, roll your window down as the officer approaches. Also, it's really hard to see at night. My 20% tint, it's a challenge for me to see at night especially at dim lighted areas so, I have to roll my windows down. Daylight...it's great. I enjoy the privacy.

Have it profesionally done. I had the two front windows done on my Dakota for $98. I had the Diamond window film installed which are fully warranted against peeling, cracking, delamination, demetallization and adhesive failure for as long as you own your vehicle. Or, you can add another 30 bucks for lifetime replacement for any reason other than abuse. The installers will have film samples so you can pick what kind of shade you want and should also educate you on local laws. Questions to ask would be...where they trim (if they cut right at the top or how many mm down from the top), if they tuck the film inside the weather seal, how many days before you can roll your window down...

I hope this helps.

A Cut Above in Leavenworth, Kansas takes your panel completely off the door, and goes to the end of the glass. They are a top notch place to get your windows done, and they have never had an issue with fellow soldiers cars when they got their cars done. They did a Mustang for me a few years ago, and it still looks new. I might take the Neon up to them and have them do the windows. They cost more, but they use the titanium stuff as the standard grade, nothing inferior even if you supply, they just wont put it on.
