Default bad clutch?? bad tranny??.....

When im on the highway and in fifth, sometimes 4th gear, and going up a hill...it seems like my car is losing speed even if i have the pedal on the floor.I dont feel or hear any climb in RPMs either. I know my synchros are going bad cause sometimes it just pops out of 3rd gear, but i guess i got a new problem now. this is my 2nd clutch on my car and only has between 5 to 7000 miles on it. maybe its cause i got it off of ebay lol..who knows. but anyway, how can you tell when your gears are going bad? before i slap this stage 2 clutch and fidanza flywheel on, can anyone tell me if its my gears?

your tranny problems can be leading to excessive clutch wear. I would fix your tranny properly before you put that clutch in.

If you actually "pop out" of a gear, attack the problem now.

my old r/t slowed down when climping the mountains out in pennsylvania.....but it had the 3.55 tranny, so i think it was gear ratio related.....the tranny just didnt have enough get-up-and-go to make it up the mountains.....

though 3 days later on the way home the main drive gear bearing went out inside the tranny.....tore the tranny all to hell and put 3 holes in the casing the size of your fist[&:]......so it might of just been the tranny going bad, im not sure
