for your intake, couldn't you use the battery relocationmount from an Iceman cai? it moves the battery back about 3 inches i believe. i also heard that the k&n cai kit comes with some type of battery relocation mount?

 

i had a k&n intake on one of my old cars and it never came with anything for the battery....

i have the air filter sitting down by my drivers axel now.....so far there hasnt been any problems, but i am thinking of moving the battery to the trunk just so that i can clean up the engine bay a little
