when im on at a light and start to take off, i step on the gas pedal, but there is this annoying clunk/click/choked up sound which stalls my car!..it would make the choked up clunking sound and stall for like sec and then take off...however, if i step very slowly on the gas pedal, and slowly begin to accelrate, then everything is good. But the thing is my car doesnt seem right..it drives like trash now..i dont understand..when i want to take off fast, it makes that choked up clicking noise..

 

Something could be clogged. EGR, PCV, TB? Hoses out? I replaced my breather hose, cleaned my EGR, replaced PCV and PCV hoses and it cured my car of stalls at the bottom of my hill...which previously cost me my factory-issue starter.

 

because u said stall ill assume that means shutting down causing you to restart it.

I had similar problems except mine would act like it was flooded or wasn't getten enough fuel... ended up being the Oxygen Sensor, i also replaced my TPS and cleaned my idle sensor thingy.

but that cleared it right up for me

 

Wouldn't O2 sensors trigger a CEL?

That reminds me, should look at my IAC and TPS someday...maybe clean the TB while I'm at it.
