I have been running that seafoam in the oil for about 2000 km's now. It didnt say anythign about dumping it right away.

I added maybe half the can. Where did you learn about having to dump it right away? I thought it was to stay and clean it up while it is in there??

Seafoam's best benefit's are realized by older vehicles that haven't been run on "top tier" gasolines like Chevron or Texaco.....if you've been using top tier gasoline for your car, Seafoam is a waste of money........

oh **** dude, that stuff is basically just isoproyl alcohol, some octane booster and something else. It is not oil soluble. Change that **** immediately your oil is probably breaking down and not lubricating properly. Its only meant to be used temporarily to "grab" some of the oily carbon **** inside your oil pan and stuff, it says it cleans out oil passages aswell. Its probably gunked up your oil filter too. You are really only supposed to use it as a "motor flush" if anyways

thats part true, though spraying throught the throttle body will do more cleaning than just the gas will. Itll clean out the IM, some of the TB, maybe get a little gunk from the EGR. And it does better on the intake valve side aswell, since its not under pressure it flows in with the air it moves slower and grabs anything on the intake valve better than the gas does. Though I do agree that top tier gas is the way to go. Our SHELL has that up here and thats all I use, I still have to say that seafoam has its benefits
