Default airbag light

my airbag light is on and it wont go off its been on for about a mouth i was waiting to see if it went off when i was wiring stuff in i think i pulled the airbag fuse and put it back does anyone know why it wont go off

must be sumthing bad......the airbag light will go off when the fuse is replaced and you dont need to reset the light....so that just leaves sumthing being wrong

Mine was on for about two months out of the summer, then one day it went off. Hasn't come back on since. I didn't mess with any wiring or anything. The Haynes manual said to take it to a shop right away, but I didn't because I didn't have the money. I know this doesn't help in any way at all. Sorry.

try taking the neg. and pos. battery cables off, then take the airbag fuse out, and the engine fuse, leave em out overnight, then put em all back the next day to see if that works..that usually would reset the cars' PCM..if that dont work...then i dont know.....[&:]

IIRC, you need to take it to a dealership to have them reset the airbag light code.
