Default Swap

So I've decided.. since I am goin to have to get money out to fix the Neon anyways, I might as well drop me a new shiney 2.4L Turbocharged SRT-4 engine into that bay.. and make it a real sleeper!

I came across this product at Modern Performance. anyone know if it?

2.4L Swap Adapter

I heard all the other mounts are the same, save the passenger side mount.. this is an adapter to supposively be able to swap without changing the mount..

Let me know guys, thanks!

if you use your tranny then that passenger mount is the only one you need to change.......get the adapter, then bolt it onto the motor and bolt your mount to it

Yes, I plan on using my tranny.. I hope it holds alright with the bigger engine.. If I do end up getting the tranny along with it, I will prolly have some fabricating to do, hmm?

OK, another question.. with the swap.. since I will be laying down more torque and HP, will I need better driveaxles?

Yes, you will need stronger axles....eventually. Also depends on how you beat on it.

Can anyone recommend a stronger axle? Will the SRT-4 axles fit in the R/T Tranny?

If not, I guess I will be lookin into some CV joints *laugh* because we all know I will be beating the hell outta the car when I get it done!
