Default Unsuccessful oil pan gasket replacement

Well just put in the gasket a few weeks ago,it looks to be leaking again at the same spot as before(in the corner where the surface is split-there's some component there and I can't think of the nameof it right now). I did put some RTV in between. Question is is can I put some more RTV in there,or by pulling the pan back out the gasket needs replacement again. Also is there a particular bolt pattern(I just kind of cris-crossed it)?

If a seem is leaking then just clean it thoroughly with brake clean let dry. Then apply RTV over seam and pressing as much as possible. Then reapply. Then spray(lightly) with water to set.

It is leaking at that seam. I did clean the surface with acetone originally. I'll try to add some more RTV, I guess there's nothing to lose at this point.

Just got a better look, there's a ton of oil on top of where the pan sits,so it's definitely possible it's coming from the cam seal. That'll have to be done also.
