haha i live all the way in california...

but i asked him the same question and its because his dad doesnt trust him AT ALL
i don't care though
he says hes "going to make payments" (400 a month)
when he works at a minimum wage job

and barely makes that much

when my neon is running again and i order my parts...
i'll just beat him

to me thats the same as sponsored cars......
i run into people once and a while that go on and on about how much they spent on their cars......then come to find out that all they did was buy the car...all the parts were sponsored....these people **** me off

When I was in HS my friend compacted the engine of his integra into a pancake, courtesy of a big-rig. He survived and bought a new Integra. Then he dropped it for a motorcycle.

Drove my friend's integra over the weekend...the throw is too short for me and it seems like I have to hold the clutch in a hell of a lot more than with the Neon. On the other hand, driving around town on 2nd gear at high RPM is sorta fun...like a really fast ATX. The one thing I did learn is that he probably won't let me drive it again!

i always drive around towns in 2nd gear just because i like the sound of it and then i can hit the gas real good and just take off without shifting

the dohc's are nice becasue i revving wont hurt them at all.....so i use 2nd gear unless im goin over 40mph
