car only has 87000 miles. That should hold a turbo for a couple years. I am planning to do a rebuild next winter

A stage two turbo on a engine with 87k on it... Sounds bad to me.. You'd be better off with the swap..

you could go another 100,000 on it witha turbo if your tune is right, which mine WILL be. I like power, but I am safe about it!!!

Turbo's find small problems and make them into big problems. The turbo will hold for a couple of years but what about the engine? You can get a decent rebuild kit for $500...worth it in the long run for me.

I plan on building a forged short block for it in the next year...should be all good. The more I think about it the more i lean towards the hahn.

Id say the hahn kit would be easier and cheaper overall, less headaches too

I was doing alot of research on the srt4 swap over the last month or so, and I just cant see me being able to pul it off. I am fine until I get to the wiring, and splicing and cutting and soldering this here and that there, and then the whole key and ignition anc computer VIN thing, and I have decided that the hahn is for me...wow...

atleast you dont have to do any major fabbing when you get a kit. The time for hahn install is exponentially easier than a srt swap + turbo. I havent done either, but just by looks and the WIP stuff ive seen of a srt swap the hahn is much easier. Maybe wont pay off as much in the end, but do you really want to spend all that extra time for 20% more power? (numbers made up)
