about the celing
Hi Everyone
in my 95 Dodge Neon the Celing is coming down, and the visores look like there warn out,
How much does it cost to replace the cloth on the celing and the visores? I am sure that spud or
Dazz Probley know this one
thanks for any help you can give.Lance
really your best bet would be to go to like a joanne fabrics or wally world and pic out a fabric you like, walmart also sells this stuff called "General Trim Adhesive" (see pics below) basically its like 3m glue in a spray can
then just pull your headliner out the abs board its falling off of too, then pull the headliner off of it take your hands and rub the old glue and foam off of the abs board, then lay out enough fabric to cover the headliner, you want to lay it upside down though so you are looking at the back of it(the part thats gonna attach to the abs board) then spray the abs board and the back of the fabric, wait about 10-15 minutes (so the adhesive gets tacky) then lay the fabric on the board, smooth it out with your hand, cut all your holes, (for like visor and domelight, ect..) best way to cut the holes is to make cuts, dont actually cut a hole, but make a few slits so you can push the fabric through the hole then cut the excess off after you fold a little bit over it, then replace it back into the car and your done
