Well hate to tell you this.. but once one problem starts, others soon follow....

Check these:
Radiator cap (Get a new one, not that much)
Losing antifreeze?
Make sure there is no air in the system
Check all your hoses and such
CHECK YOUR RADIATOR.. These are one of those things that *DO* go out in cars!

Let us know what happens...

I believe radiator gasket problems were linked to eventual HG failure, in accordance with an FAQ on the dot-org.

I think the questions to resolve would be:

-Where is your radiator fluid? Are you low? Are you leaking?
-Are your radiator hoses/caps failing?
-Could radiator fluid simply not be flowing? Clog or dead pump?
-Radiator fluid not being cooled down properly? Fan issue?

whats the build date on your car?

Have you ever replaced the headgasket?

Either way you need to completely flush your system and spend $5 on a new thermostat. Check all hoses and clamps. My first 98 R/T had the same TYPE of problem and replacing the thermostat and flushing the system cleared it up.
