Probably a stupid question, this is my first car and im just getting into all this stuff. When i floor it sometimes it seems as if my engine completely over revs and is about to blow, so i have to let off a little for it to switch gears. Is this a problem? or just another reason why MTX is the way to go

 

How is your atx fluid? When was the last time you changed it? You may want to think about an mtx conversion, if your atx has not been properly maintaned. I have a spare if you need it. Email me at twztidcrx@hotmail.com

 

It may be time for a fluid and filter change with Mopar ATF+4 or a suitable substitute. Check the 1st gen FAQ's for substitutes.
