If they can put a skyline engine in a fastback mustang you can make your neon RWD. Wont be cheap, or even easy, but technically its possible. Then again this is the real world and not a movie, so you might just wanna by a z car or similar.

I'm wit Spud on this one. you can slide but you cant really trully drift, not even wit trays on the rear. I've never really tried to drift but I have slid tons of times on a fwd car. I think if you try to drift the front wheels would try to bring it forward instead of sideways....I mean rwd your steering wheels are in a diff direction then your driving wheels. if that makes any sense. lol

A neon is light, it will drift, my 98 has seen many drifts when my friend owned it, he mastered it lmao, and in the wet/snowy ****, i have gotten my 4000 lb grand prix sideways drifting without E break. it's possible, but it takes a lot of willingness. I say buy a 240
that's y my friend sold his neon, he got a 240 lmao

you can enter the race and mayby even slide alittle, however you wont get the kind of sliding for the judges to score you high enough to get out off last place. i agree theres no point.

I don't think "sliding a little" is considered drifting. Drifting is multiple slides back to back without straightening out.
