Default new serious problem

so i was driving around today heading to the bank...as i turned a corner the car starting making a loud putting sound.....i knew what the sound was right away......it had happened about 8 monthes ago, but not this bad....

my #3 sparkplug popped out of the head.....i tried to screw it back in, but noticed the threads in the head were stripped out.....

on the walk home a few minuites ago, i decided to put a new head on it, but the guy down the street told me about sumthing that is kinda like a heli-coil, but specifically for sparkplugs....anyone know what it is?????

and before anyone decides to be dumb, i know it was tight before because i checked them a few times before the car left the garage...since i didnt want any problems while too far away from home.....luckily i was only about 7 blocks from the garage so i just drove it there......

well ive gotta go back over there and put the car back in the garage before i go to work, any ideas of what the part is called, just let me know so i can get this thing back on the road right away[&:]

I haven't use a helicoil, but I know people who have and they say it works great. The only problem with doing it while the head is still on are possible metal shaving falling into the engine. Some people use a shop vac and suck any debris in there and then be on there way.

i was told to put alot of grease on the tap so that when im drilling it in there, the shavings will stick in the grease.....and then after its tapped, start the car with the plug out and it will blow the rest of the shavings out......eitherway, if i end up having to do the head, i dont have a problem with that.....i just dont have the money for the gasket set yet and i really wanna drive the car again
