merry xmas to all....
Im getting ready to swap out my SOHC motor for a DOHC one..I think I have everything I need so now I just wanna know if anybody has ever done this before....about how long does it take from start to finish???Basically I wanna know if I can get it done in a weekend??? Thanks to all and Happy New Year

dont know if this helps but, in the labor guide at workit says its supposed to take about 13.7 hours to swap a sohc with the same motor...but i dont know about sohc to dohc...

It can easily be done in a weekend - if you have all the parts and tools
I rebuilt a pulled a SOHC out - Rebuilt it as a DOHC and put it back in over two weekends - could have done it in a weekend - but did not have all of the gaskets to complete it the 1st time around.
