ABS removal - how to turn off the light?
Ok, so I decided to remove the ABS from my '95 Sport. I like to have a lot more control over my braking than the ABS provided, and it took a few more pounds off the front of the car. I used the proportioning valve from a '91 S10 Blazer that I had sitting there, and the brakes are now phenomenal. The Neon stops on a dime, and I can feel the brakes much better. The question I have is, how do I turn off the ABS light? In New York it won't pass state inspection with that light on, even though the brakes work as good as new (better in my opinion). I've worked around other issues like this in weird conversion projects, but this one has me stumped. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!
just take out the light
pop off the top dash (just lift straight up near the instrument cluster) from there i think theres like 4 or so screws and once u get all those out just grab the cluster and pull straight towards you. the light is just there on the back and just twist and remove and put everything back together.
