those little tabs on the throwout bearings are so fragile. i busted 2 of them today. i wonder whose idea it was to make them that flimsy anyway... id like to personally punch them in the face.

I coud'nt agree with you more.I remember not wanting to put my tranny back in once because I thought it was so flimsy and fell off so easy.My throwout bearing squeels all the fin time too, probably cause of the arm the bearing sits on wears over time.

I believe dodge makes a newer version of that arm that holds the bearing, but dont quote me.Also I do know that dodge has its own tob...might want to get that..since the 2 diff ones I've used have both squeeled, one was a borg/warner also I think.

If you ever do find the guy that designed it, hit him once more for me too...

those tabs are just too small. I rigged something up with plastic and superglue that i think will keep it on there better. its a lot more sturdy than those flimsy tabs. I guess if it doesnt work out i can always take it back off and put a new one on.
