i have one i could sell for 100 bucks shipped in the US not hawaii or alaska. out of an 04. was going to use it on mine, but figured it was too small. the bad part about srt i/c's is that they have the elbows built into them, which means cuttin holes in the already weak core support. now, you could modify the inlet and outlet to point straight out enabling you to use "u" bends for intercooler pipe and go around all the structure without having to hack into anything. all you would need is some aluminum, some pipe, and a know how of welding aluminum. just modify te end tanks to point the inlet and outlet to each side rather than the way they are, which is pointed to the engine bay.

they work just fine going into the engine bad....you only have to cut out about a 3 inch diameter circle at each end of the radiator support.....about 30 seconds with a sawzall and your good to go

and it saves you from having to use more pipe and do some welding

that one you posted a pic of will work excellent. looks to be the same size as the srt, just different tanks at the end. all you will need is some "u" bent piping and go from there. no need to buy another one like it.

i would get an srt intercooler......why use U bends and find another way to route the piping when you can go straight into the engine compartment and where you need to go??????
if you get the srt intercooler then you dont have to cut anything off the front bumper....then you can have more of a sleeper look if you desire....then all you have to cut is the radiator support....

but hey, do what you wanna do

Yeah, I wouldnt worry about cutting into that bumper.. If you wreck it, its going to crumple like an aluminum can anyways! haha

unless you plan on monster power i wouldnt worry about an upgraded srt intercooler......the stock one is better then anyone gives it credit for.....especially for the price
