Default car problem

ok i just about replaced everything on this car today i just got the fuel pump replaced and the car still wont crank the mechnic said something about its not getting any current and he said i might need a computer is this true cause i dint want to get it and thats not it in the past month i got a nother motor transmission altanater why could it not start now

check the crank sensor.

it is located behind the alt. which is on the back of the engine. if the PCM (computer) doesn't get a signal from that sensor then the engine wont turn on or anything.

how much doit cost and how long to install ts it pretty easy to install

from autozone its like $65. atleast here. as for the installation i dont know cause i haven't had to do it yet. but i think it would be rather easy (according to the Haynes manual)
