I picked up a 1995 neon dash cluster with tachometer for a great price intending to upgrade my non tachometer dash. The problem is that mine is Canadian and the new one is from a US car. I don’t think the speedometer will cause a problem as it still the same full scale reading and both are marked in km/h and mph. My question is the odometer, I’m sure it will read miles not km. Does anyone know if it can be recalibrated or is it possible to swap the odometer module from my old dash cluster to the new one?

 

You can swap odometers pretty easily. Follow these steps...

Thanks for the info and photos, it looks pretty simple, but do you know if this will make it read properly in km’s. I’m not sure if the calibration is part of the odometer or if it is set electronically on the main circuit board.
