milage does make a big difference....
i know the auto neons are fairly slow...but newer automatic cars are a bit peppier

mileage does make a difference with a buildup of carbon and the slight breackdown of seals can rob a neon of up too 10whp

 

Come to find out it wasnt his car he was driving his sisters lol and she left for cali, I raced his volvo s70 and won, My friend took a clip with his camera from the other car passenger seat. Should have it uploaded tomarrow

^^^I think he let off the gas, because the S70's make more HP and torque than the SOHC neon.

 

nah we raced about three times, from 60-90 mph is when I pass him, at around 90-95 he starts gaining, My car seems to never want to switch gears when its supposed to, The UDP and tune-up I'm getting should help tho

The volvo weighs about twice as much as the neon (3152lbs)

 

If you are racing from 60MPH in an ATX, then you are already in 3rd gear so your acceleration is going to suck.
