ok guys, i'm at a stail mate with the fuel pump. and i cant figure out which outer ring i'm supposed to remove. from the look of the Hayes manual its the inside one, but that one isn't moving at all and the outer one isn't moving and yea. i need to get this off tonight so its kinda urgent.

Should i just hit the ring really hard and pray that it doesn't break it? lol.

 

do you have the plastic tank or the metal one?????

 

its metal and i got it. well my dad did lol. i gave up on it and i let my dad do it and he got it off.

 

thats good...ive never messed with the metal tanks...just the plastic...
i cant even think of what the metal tanks pump looks like
