k my friends all insist that a civic is a good car...cause they are fast....( i know posts bout civics come up alot but finish readin)....so i have tryed everything to prove anything is better even a buick but no one belives me its fustratin.[:@]......i have raced civics and won (they saw it...civic even had headstart) compared stats....but i cant get belivers so im puttin this post up to see how many ppl think civics are not fast.......give support put up a post...thanks ......

 

civics arnt fast niether are neon, its all about what you do after

 

civics arnt as fast as every one thinks they are i have raced hand fulls of civics and i have only lost three races to civics (they had turbos) civics can kiss my *** [sm=imsmilin.gif]

 

Depends on what year Civic you are referring to. Some people race a DOHC ATX neon and then say neons are slow, which they are. But a DOHC MTX neon is alot quicker. I personally like the '99-'00 Blue Si's....they are pretty!! I also like the cam that comes in them, sounds sweet!

The neon and civic are both economy cars, not race cars, so debating which is quicker is an exercise in futility.

 

civics are fast as hell.....havent you ever seen fast and the furious?????...de de dee

there are some civics i really like.....but no matter what car you have or how you drive it, there will always be people that disagree with you....

i had a friend that i always used to race, he had a 2000 mustang...6cyl, ram air, huge throttle body, throttle body spacer, posi, and one of those computer chips.....the car was pretty fast, but every time he lost (which was almost all the time)...there was always a stupid reason for it...anyways,

comparing neons to civic is like comparing apples to oranges.....yeah they are both fruits, but you have some people that like one more then the other just because they have never tried it before

i diss civics all the time....doesnt mean that i would never own or drive one...sure i would, but thats only because i could build one into a 10 second car just buy going to walmart

i like when people say "its only a neon".....sure its a neon, but it also came stock with the most hp and tq out of any car in its class....

i personally hate Civics (cept the late 80s and early 90s) but thats mostly cause they are over priced and i personally dont like the style. but onto the debate of the speed. any car can be made fast. but stock for stock, the Neon wins (depending on driver and if its a ATX or not) but when u get the true Civic tuners who actually know who their talking about and spend lots of money in their little cars, they can be fast then. and plus, the Neon for A LOT less money can beat a heavily modified civic.

 

Thats the biggest difference for me!!!!

 

well yes it is what you do to them but when in high school you dont have that much to spend.....and if you were abel to buy either and do mods like that then ya i do agree but im talkin stock .....mtx neons vs the civic

 

get a job? stock to stock mtx to mtx a neon beats a civic
