for those of you that remember the MBA cold air intake a made a while back, i talked about making some of them to sell....but money got kinda hard for a while and i just threw it on a shelf in the garage....
well, now the issue has arized again.....i have a coulpe people asking me once and a while about them and i found it while i was moving stuff into my new garage, so i have again been putting some thought into making them....

if you dont remember the intake that i am talking about, then its in my gallery....

but anyways, if i started making them, would anyone be willing to buy them?????
i was thinking of putting them up on ebay.....but, if you were in the market to buy a cold air intake, what would you be willing to pay for one and would you be willing to do the work to install it????

i just need to know some of this before i make up my mind....and i also found sumone that is willing to invest some money for me to make and sell them...then if i need to they will also help pay to patent it....

I think you should give some more info such as; total cost, installation requirements, materials used and filter. I can't envision people wanting to spend more than $200 on a CAI, when a 3.0L intake can be made for alot cheaper.

I would also try to find a stock neon and dyno it before and after your CAI, to give some added incentive to buy.

 

i cant even find a dyno anywhere near me...[&:]but it would be a thought

total cost.....im not sure.....parts would probally cost about $75.00..mostly because of the filter
installation requirements: the hardest part is trimming out the radiator support....which takes about 2 minuites with a hack saw....and primming the front of the battery tray...but if people dont wanna do that then i can probally find a bunch to go along with the intakes....

ahhh...maybe its just a lost cause....
i might just make one and put it on ebay and see if it gets anything..if not then i will just scrap the idea
