Fuel pump issue

Default Fuel pump issue

Ok i just put in a new motor and i got it to turn over but it wouldnt start so i pulled off the fuel hose from the fuel rail and turned the key and no fuel, the fues under the hood has power and so does relay replaced relay. i want to tie a hot wire directly to the fuel pump wire, but dont know where it is, HELP

jack up the back of the car....
the fuel pump is right infront of the back tire on the passenger side....
pull off the wide clip and you will see4 prongs in the clip.....the center 2 are for the level sender and the outter 2 are for the power and ground...

i just use speaker wire and run it straight from the battery to the pump...

did you listen for the whinning sound when you turn the ignition on????

yeah i did didnt hear it, but the other day i hear it but my starter was toast today i replace starter and no pump, its only been 3 days fuel pump couldnt have froze that fast. how hard it it to get to?

the fuel pump is pretty easy to get to. Just jack up the rear of your car. then look at ur gas tank, its on the passenger side of it. theres 3 wires/hoses connected to it. unplug them and do the test on the clip that runs the electric to it like the guy said how to.

You can also just bypass the relay ;-)

ok i unpluged the conector got out the volt meter and turned the key on and i got 12v on one of the middle plugs the rest didnt read out to anything, i dont know what one is the power tho anyone help?
