lash adjusters

I think my 99 dohc is in need of replacment lash adjusters. Its starting to have valve noise at mid to high rpm. I have been told that PT adjusters are better replacments....Is this true? if so what year? turbo?

Get them from the N/A PT cruiser, from years up to 01.
