The break warning light is turned on by the park break switch and/or by a break fluid level switch in the break master cylinder. The same circuit also disables your daytime running lights (if equipped) when the warning light (park break) is on. The master cylinder fluid level switch is easily accessible for testing, try disconnection the plug at the master cylinder, if the light goes out then that’s your problem. If it still stays on then check the park break switch. The console must be removed to gain access to the park break lever a single wire connects to the switch, unplug it to verify if that is the problem. If the light still stays on you probable have a short from the switch wire to ground as both these switches ground the wire to turn the light on.

Good luck.

well the brake fluid just dosent dissapear since you stated that you filled the brake fluid to me that means that your pads may be wore down to far. i would check that next is your car have abs? if pads are good and fluid level is good. brakes seem to operate normaly, then i would check the wiring by unhooking the mastercyclinder first then the hand brake both seperatlylike what is stated above if thats not it and everything still seems normal i would just take the bulb out takes about 5 min to do that.
