King bearings. An old mopar guy i know swears by them. He wont use anything but those in his old 426's and 440's.Youll never wear those out. I have them in mine.
Clevites are fine but seema littlesoft to me. Ive destroyed enough clevites i dont use them anymore unless its a bone stock rebuild. Since your going with new rods, and a new crank, and it will all be balanced (i hope)i think clevites should be just fine. they live in 800HP 15:1 late model engine.
The harder bearings will put more wear on the crank, and by the time they wear out you have to turn it.
but they last alot longer and take lots more abuse.
