i was just wondering whats gona happin if i leave my ATX PCM in and do the MTX swap into it

You won't rev as high and you will have a code for the lockup torque converter not working (because its an MTX now).

thanks i was gona do the swap this weekend but its realy hard to find a mtx Dohc PCM around here and just wanted to make sure it would work

if the pcm reads the TQ as being in park or neutral then your rev limit will be stuck at about 4,000-4,500rpm's

yeah but some people might wanna rev higher
i cant have it that low, i wanna be able to get tleast into the 6,000's

I shift about 2500-3000 rpms anyway.
