I have a 1997 Neon sohc ACR model with 95,000 miles on it. After I drive for 15 mins or so, when I come to a stop light and the car is just ideling the oil light comes on. Yes there is brand new oil full to the level. If I rev it up a 100 rpm's or more the light goes out. Is it the oil pump going bad? oil sensor light? How do I check it? Thanks...

 

The best way to check would be to remove the oil sender unit and temporarily install an actual pressure gauge. Otherwise try a new sender unit.
